Hello everybody.

As today is the last day of the year I'd like to write a little bit of what has happened since the last time I wrote something here.
If you remember or read the last post I was in France working in a project with a professor. sadly I returned to Mexico but I'm hoping to return in the future. I was thinking in my plans to do for this 2016, as you remember this December I "finished" my master degree, well I'm still writing my thesis but I won't take too much time to finish it. Also, I started to find a job, I already find something but they asked me to take some courses before, so I'm doing it and I hope to start the year working.

As I already mentioned in the last post, I was thinking in a Ph.D., I had a plan to apply to enter to the University of Manchester, but because of some issues I'll have to wait until 2017 to try. At the beginning I got a little sad, but I think it is the right move to do, also I'll have more time to save money. So I'm expecting this 2016 with a lot of work, that will be worthy for the next step on my plans for the future.

Now speaking about this 2015, It was really great, and thinking about my whole life I could say that from 5 years to know, each years has been better than the last, but 2015 made it really difficult for 2016 to overcome its awesomeness. Why? Because I did a lot of things, I visited places that I'd never thought I would see,  visited countries like France, Spain, England and met too many interesting people that I could call friends, and all thanks to this passion for what I do, that I'm sure this will take me further.

What's new?

Well, has been a long time since the last time I wrote here, I think it's time to explain what has happened with my life through these two years. As you can notice this is writing in english because... why not?

As you remember in my last post, now I'm studying a master degree in Systems engineering, and I hope to finish it on December (seriously I hope it, I haven't written any chapter of my thesis). If you want to know, everything going great at university, I've been really focused on it. My thesis has a collaboration with a big brewery company a.k.a. Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma, besides that I'm writing two scientific papers and hope to submit them before the end of the year.

All that effort brought me to work for three months to the Laboratoire d'Analyse et d'Architecture des Sysèmes in France. Tomorrow finishes my second month and starts the third and last month here in this beautiful city called Toulouse. Being here has been one of the most exciting, scariest and wonderful experiences I have had in my life. Scariest?... that moment when you don't speak any french and you don't know what to do when you arrive to France!
But now everything's OK, I've met some awesome people that I really want to keep talking with after I get back to Mexico.

What else? I've been thinking all this month about what I am going to do after I finish. It is hard to decide, professor at university wants me to continue doing a Ph.D there, and of course I'm planning to do a Ph.D but I don´t think I want to do it at UANL but if I'm planning to do it outside I have to wait at least half of the year. So, in January I'll return to "working life" but I really don't know what kind of job I'm looking for now. Some months ago I read this article and I know that's what I want for me, but I don't have a concise idea of what shall I do.

Well that's a summary of my life this two years. I don't know if I will continue writing each two years so, see you the next time!
